Taiwan's resource recovery rate is as high as 55%, but the recycling and reuse rate is less than 5%.
In order to promote resource recycling in the plastic and rubber industry, the organizer of the "Taipei International Plastics and Rubber Industry Show (TaipeiPLAS)" has specially planned an online DigitalGo digital event (until October 28). Among them, the "Plastic and Rubber Industry Exhibition" will be launched on September 30. "Industrial Trend Forum" specially invited Jiquan Plastic Chairman Zhan Jingzhong to share his experience in innovative applications of recycled plastics and building a green supply chain, attracting nearly 500 domestic and foreign industry participants.
Jiquan Company has created a closed recycling system to maximize the reuse value of resources. Plastic Center/Provide
Founded in 1991, Jiquan Company started by producing emulsion hydraulic heads. After establishing the PET department, its products expanded to PET bottles and cans required for various daily necessities. Faced with the hot topic of plastic reduction in recent years, the company has already prepared to transform and began to focus on the use of recycled plastics. In this forum, Zhan Jingzhong shared how to build his Shengshi Liangpin into a " closed regeneration cycle system ". The key lies in the initial overall planning, selecting 100% recyclable materials from the source design, and establishing a complete tableware recycling mechanism to recycle After the products are dismantled and classified, they are remade into recycled products through product design.
Zhan Jingzhong explained that the special feature of Shengshi Liangpin is that all tableware and tableware are made of a new generation of Tritan copolyester environmentally friendly materials. The materials comply with the US FDA certification and do not contain the environmental hormone bisphenol A (BPA), which comes into contact with the human body. Very safe. Compared with the melamine tableware on the market, which is made of formaldehyde polymerization, once the food contained exceeds 40 degrees C, it will easily release melamine and formaldehyde toxins, which may have a negative impact on the human body in the long run. The tableware launched by Shengshi Liangpin is not only strong, resistant to falling and easy to clean, but also provides consumers with greater peace of mind when using it.

Jiquan Company's concept of environmental protection and sustainability has successfully attracted like-minded companies to form a green supply chain. For example, Shengshi Liangpin's products are from Hexi Dishes Industrial Co., Ltd., Taiwan Pode Co., Ltd., and Dafeng Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. The company cooperates. In addition, it has also cooperated with the professional environmentally friendly cosmetics brand Olade Company to produce shampoo bottle presses from recycled plastics. According to data, Jiquan Company produced more than 300,000 recycled press heads in 2018, which is equivalent to the use of Nearly 8 metric tons of recycled plastic.
Last year, Jiquan Company took a big step forward on the road to circular economy. It cooperated with the Taiwan Housewives Union Consumer Cooperative and invited nearly a thousand members to help clean and recycle used milk bottles. In cooperation with the Plastic Industry Technology Development Center, a sustainable bottled ecological laundry detergent was successfully created through the steps of bottle crushing, feeding, discharging, pelletizing, and heating and blow molding into bottles. Through this resource reuse process, we can achieve the goals of waste reduction, sustainability, and low carbon.
More Jiquan Company's practical experience in innovative applications of plastic recycling will be presented at the "Plastic Industry Innovation Forum" hosted by the Plastics Industry Technology Development Center from November 24 to 25, 2021. Invited comments on plastic innovation and circular economy Entrepreneurs and start-up teams who are interested in investing can participate.
