Closed-loop Recycling System

From the perspective of policies, responses from multinational corporations, and the release of certification standards, the circular economy is a global trend, and linear economic practices will gradually be phased out.
In 2019, the European Parliament passed the "Single-Use Plastics Directive," which stipulates a comprehensive ban on the use of "single-use plastic products" such as straws, utensils, cotton swabs, etc., in EU countries from 2021. In Taiwan, according to the "Taiwan Marine Debris Governance Action Plan" announced by the Environmental Protection Administration in 2018, the government aims to gradually control, with the goal of "comprehensive restriction (price-based) by 2025 and comprehensive ban by 2030," the four major categories of marine debris, including shopping bags, disposable tableware, one-time take-out beverage cups, plastic straws, etc. In response to this, the company has established a sustainable recycling team to jointly plan a consistent and systematic waste tableware recycling mechanism. In the initial stage, B2B customers are the main focus, aiming to develop partnerships with target industries such as group meals, tableware leasing, and catering, to jointly meet the needs of end-users and contribute to the environment.
